Microsoft released version 6 of its Internet Explorer web browser in August 2001. Included as the default browser for both the Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 operating systems, Internet Explorer 6 is the last Microsoft web browser that functions in Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows ME. Deleting or otherwise changing the browser’s home page setting is a quick and easy task once you know where to look. Open Internet Explorer 6.
