How Do You Defrag A Computer In Windows Vista?
Defragmentation in a computer is essential to keeping it running well and without problems. When you defrag your computer on a regular basis you are in a way organizing data. This makes it easier to access things in your hard drive when you are searching for it. First, go to the start menu and click on “program.” From program, click on the “accessories” tab After that, click on “System tools” tab Then from there click on “Disk defragment” This is where you will be able to perform the defrag. A small window will open with some options, click “Defragment now” If you’re using Windows Vista on PC, you can automatically schedule for defrag to take place regularly. If you’re like me and you forget to defrag, then this is a great option. You will know that you’re computer is organizing itself on a regular schedule. With my old computer, which was a Windows XP, I did not see this option available. Thus I assume it’s exclusive for Windows Vista.
