How Do You Defeat Maat Monk On Final Fantasy 11?
When a monk reaches Level 66 in Final Fantasy XI, he can meet Maat Monk in Ru’lude Gardens. He cannot advance past Level 70 until he takes on Maat’s challenge. After collecting a testimony, the orcish champions and the monk mobs, your final test will be to defeat Maat himself in combat. Prepare two sets of gear to face Maat. Use the first set to aid a Chi Blast, including the Temple Gloves and anything that boosts your Mind. Use the other to boost your attack and strength. Organize a new line of macros for the fight. You’ll need one for boosting for a Chi Blast, one for equipping your melee gear, one to use your abilities quickly and one to equip Temple Cyclas for using Chakra. Remove all your equipment before entering the battle zone. This is recommended because it is believed Maat will wear what you are wearing once you enter (this has never actually been proven).
