Instead of spending a small fortune, make your own decorative boxes to match any room in your home or office for a fraction of the cost. Decide what you want or need to store in the decorative boxes. Hats, art supplies, and paperwork would all need different sized and shaped boxes. Go to the local craft store and purchase the correct size of paper mache box. For items such as photographs that require an acid free environment choose a photo box instead. Choose a decorative tissue paper or multi-ply napkins that will match the room where the decorative box will go. You will also need a base color that is either similar to the background color or a coordinating color. If you are using napkins, separate each ply so as that it is as thin as possible.
