A nondescript cubicle can be an unpleasant place to work, but employees can do a great deal to enhance their work surroundings. By decorating their own cubicles with a few small items, workers can bring a little bit of home and their own personality into the workplace. Check with your manager about any decorating rules the company may have in place. Many companies limit the types of items employees are allowed to display, often restricting religious or political expressions and other items that may be deemed inappropriate.
