Make sure the pants still fit well. Put the jeans on and put a small mark under both knees with a pencil on the outside seams of the jeans. Cut along the seam starting from underneath the waistline down to the mark you made on the outside seam of the jeans. Do this on both sides on the outside of the jeans. Attach the 2 ends of the jeans you have cut with the safety pins horizontally all the way down. Make sure you stick the pin all the way through the fabric on both sides and that it is securely fastened. You can make them as close or as far apart as you want to.
