How Do You Decorate Jars With Beads?
Give a bored child a memorable afternoon with a creative craft–gluing beads on a bottle. The color that the beads bring to the glass make it sparkle beautifully in the sunlight. It can be used as a candle jar or a vase or just as a decoration in a sunny window. The finished project can be a great teacher’s pencil jar or a special treat container for Dad’s desk. Your child will come up with lots of uses for a decorated jar. Wash the jar thoroughly inside and out. After the beadwork is on, you won’t be able to wash the jar, so have it clean and dry before starting. Wipe the outide surface of the jar with rubbing alcohol to remove any oils left from touching it with your fingers. Spread out the newspaper to protect the work surface. Arrange the beads on the table in the pattern that you would like to see on the jar.
