Create booths for games, food and resting out of tents and beams. Build stalls with thatched roofs if you have the inclination. Lay straw around the tents to give it a rustic feel. Lay bales of hay around the fair grounds for visitors to rest on. Find long wooden benches and tables. Nothing metal can be used for dining, it would’ve been too expensive in Renaissance times.
