How Do You Decorate An English Ivy Plant?
The evergreen, woody-vined English ivy is a versatile plant to decorate, indoors or out. It’s a hardy, climbing vine with multiple pretty tendrils and long-stemmed foliage that’s shaped like hearts. Pot your ivy in a big brass container, a cedar box, an old oak well-bucket or a small ceramic planter, hang it from a ceiling hook or let it run free to spread along your house brick or shutters. Insert a narrow wooden post, such as a skewer, into your English ivy plant, deep enough for the post to stand solidly erect. Wrap one long ivy tendril loosely around the post.
