How Do You Decorate An Easter Cake?
It is fairly easy to bake and decorate an Easter cake like this Easter hat. You can use a cake mix or substitute your own favorite recipe. The same goes for the frosting: Either make your own or buy ready-made frosting. Use two cake pans as described or substitute pans that you already have in similar sizes. The center of the hat can be taller if you prefer, by using a smaller pan, or substituting a small coffee can. Start by preparing the cake batter as instructed on the box, adding butter, eggs and water. Pour the ready batter into two cake pans, one about 7 inches in diameter and the other about 9 inches in diameter.
