How Do You Decorate An Angel Christmas Mantel?
If you have a fascination with angels, Christmas is a great time to start or show off your collection. Following are some tips for an angelic mantel. Choose angels of a similar style or mood for your mantel display: whimsical, formal, country, whatever. This looks better than a jumble of different types. Keep colors subdued, minimal and mostly monochromatic. We tend to envision angels in soft colors such as beige and ivory, plus a metallic tone, usually gold. Set out a compatible mantel cloth. For instance, choose quilt batting dusted with glitter, or a glitzy metallic fabric for a more formal angel ambience; choose tan burlap or unbleached muslin for a more homespun look.
