Instead of throwing a New Year’s Eve party this year, invite guests over for a New Year’s Day buffet. You can offer lots of good food, drinks and a relaxing day to visit with friends and celebrate a new year. When decorating the buffet table, consider using items such as New Year’s party favors, bottles of champagne or non-alcoholic beverages (on ice, in buckets), balloons and crepe paper.
