Use the following steps to decompress a zip file. This procedure works for PKZip version 2.7 for Windows 95 and 98. Double-click the file you want to decompress. PKZip automatically starts and opens the zip file. Click the Extract menu and choose Extract Files. Enter the directory to extract the files into, or use the Browse button to select the directory. Click Extract. PKZip shows the extraction progress. Click Done to complete the file extraction.
