How Do You Deal With Neighbors Barking Dogs (All Night Long)?
Honestly, if my neighbor’s dog was barking at 3AM, I would get on the phone and call them-at 3AM. Every time the dogs wake you, call the neighbors…say something like “I’m calling to let you know that your dogs are barking…they woke my family up again…could you go check on them, maybe bring them inside? We’ve been getting woke up XX times a night by their barking, and just aren’t able to sleep through the night anymore.” I guarantee that the neighbors don’t care that YOU are being inconvenienced, but if you start waking THEM up, they’ll be more likely to deal with the issue. If a few late night phone calls don’t fix the problem, start calling the police…and tonight, start making a log of the times you are being woke up, how long the dogs are barking, etc. There’s no excuse for letting your dogs bother the neighbors at that time of night.
