When a child has behavior problems, it can be difficult to discipline her and give her the training she needs to become a productive and responsible adult later in life. One important tip is to separate character from behavior: never belittle her character or worth as a human being because you’re not happy with the behavior. This will only increase tension between you and the child, and she may get discouraged and continue the bad behavior. Give firm discipline to the child.
