• Give up trying to convince him/her about anything. She/he may turn out to be more well-versed in what you are trying to prove than you are. Also, in the classroom, the teacher is the final authority, so if they say it’s over, you are obliged to shut up when the teacher wants you to, and your future depends on what letter/number the teacher decides to award you with. • Control your temper.
