Determine if you can remove some tiles from the sheet entirely instead of cutting them. Peel the tiles from the backing and cut away the excess backing with a utility knife. To cut some of the tiles on the sheet, place mosaic tape on top of where you will cut. Mark the cut on the mosaic tape. Set the wet saw on two sawhorses or a worktable. Be sure to keep the saw’s water supply filled as you work. The water supplies of various wet saws work differently, so check your owner’s manual. Line up the mark and the saw blade. Put on protective eye wear. Turn on the saw and slide the sheet of mosaic tiles forward towards the blade.
