How Do You Curl Fancy Chocolate Curls?
Everyone wants to save some money this year and not have to give up the quality. This is a prime example of a way to have your desserts look professional. Little effort that makes a big impact on presentation and your friends. When your friends brag about how great your desserts are, then you can make money from the easy desserts. This is a great cycle that starts with chocolate. Enjoy! Start with a clean area and cutting board. Wash your hands and get the dessert you are garnishing ready. If I have to travel, I place the cake in the box first so you don’t drop any of the chocolate by shifting the cake. Take out the peeler and chocolate bar. Inorder to get the curls to not be shavings you have to soften the chocolate slightly. Put it in the microwave for less then 15 seconds. I say that because I start with 10 seconds and add 5 seconds. Then run the peeler along the chocolate like you would to peel a potato or a carrot. Think about the strips of carrot that come off when you peel them.
