How Do You Cure Some Problems Of Flat Screen Televisions?
Some newer flat screen televisions might become intermittent in operation or do odd things,( turn off or on by itself, menu keeps popping up,etc.). Similar to computers, it could be software related problems. A software update could solve various faults. Google or otherwise search for the main website of the brand television you are having problems with,(Sharp,Philips,etc.). Look over the homepage for a support tab or link. Go to that location and there should be a place to enter the set’s model number. Enter that number and look on that page for problem symptoms. See if your problem is listed. If so, look on the page for a software update. If one is present, download it to your hard drive. Unzip and extract the downloaded file, plug the flash drive into a USB port on the computer,copy the file to the flash drive.
