Real Italian style homemade meatball recipe by Dante Fillipiano! Mix everything together in a large bowl making sure to use only enough water so as to allow the mix to remain moist. Mold the meatballs into the desired size and place into the crock pot containing a sauce mix of your choosing – I would recommend a very basic marinara sauce. Cooking time may vary depending on the heat raised by the particular crock pot you are using. I would suggest to start of with the temperature on high for about 4 hours then turn the temperature down to it’s lowest setting for around 3 hours. I know that this may sound like a long time but you must remember that the longer you allow the meatballs to simmer – the more flavorful and moist they will become.
