This is one of many patterns that you can use to get started on a new washcloth set. This is fairly easy, and with practice you can make enough of these washcloths for yourself and for others as a present. Okay for step one. It is always nice to start crocheting with a chain other wise you will have nowhere to go right from the start. You need to chain 44 and then wait for the next step. Yay, you have just chained 44 now for step 2. This is now Row 1 (right side): sc in second ch from hook, (skip next 2 chs, 5dc in next ch, skip next 2 chs, sc in next ch) across: 7 5-dc groups. Alright now for Row 2 of this Washcloth. Row 2: ch 3 (counts as first dc) turn; 2 dc in same sc, skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc, (skip next 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc, skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc) across to last 3 sts, skip next 2 dc, 3dc in last sc.
