How Do You Crochet A Beaded Necklace?

0

Crochet just isn’t for making granny squares and afghans. You can use this craft to make clothing and even accessories like necklaces. Using beads in your crochet can enhance it. Making beaded crochet necklaces is an easy and fun way to use up some beads and add a new accessory to your wardrobe. Lay out the beads in the order you want them placed on the necklace. Then thread them onto the crochet thread, beginning with the last bead first. Begin crocheting. Use the chain stitch to make the necklace as long as you want it. Work a half double crochet into the second chain from the hook. Do this until you reach the point that you want to add the first bead. Move the first bead up the thread until it rests against the crochet necklace. Yarn over past the first bead and then finish the half double crochet as normal. Continue working half double crochets until you are ready to place the next bead. Once you get to the end of the row, you are done with a simple beaded crochet necklace.
