How Do You Create Stars And Banners Using Auto Shapes In Microsoft Word 2003?
Word processors today offer users many different ways to augment the text. Features like the drawing toolbar, found in Microsoft Word 2003, allow users to add a variety of custom shapes and designs to documents. They can even add stars and banners to really add some flare to the text. Open the drawing toolbar. You need to make sure that the drawing toolbar is enabled before you can use this feature. To do this, click on “View” and select “Toolbars.” Then click on “Drawing.” Access the auto shapes menu. Click on the “Auto Shapes” field on the drawing toolbar and the auto shapes drop-down menu will open. Enter the stars and banners menu. Click on “Stars And Banners” to access this menu. Select the desired stars or banners. Click on the icon of the desired stars and or banners to create one. Draw the stars or banner. Click anywhere on the document and the drawing canvas will open.
