The layout of the stage sets the tone for any performance, ceremony or event. The arrangement of the chairs and podium can be very formal or casual depending on the venue or event. Concerts and musical performers require a different setup than a graduation or awards ceremony. Be sure you check the contract rider, if the setup is for a performer or event. Usually the number of chairs, stools, microphones, etc. will be listed there. If there isn’t a rider, check with the event coordinator for the setup requirements.
