How Do You Create Hats With Mickey Mouse Ears?
Mickey Mouse ear hats are cute, but can be so expensive to buy at Disney Land or a Disney store. However, you can make your own pair that is just as cute. Make sure you measure the head that the hat will be fitting on, so that it is not too big. Then draw a circumference of the head size on the cardboard. You will want to cut a slit in one section of the cardboard, so that you can now fold the cardboard into a rounded cone shape. This will be the hat and now you can check to make sure that it fits the head properly. If so, then glue the two edges together and let dry. Now cut two circles that will be the ears. Make a small tab at the bottom. You will fit this piece through the hat portion, to attach the ears. With the black felt, lay it over your cardboard hat portion, to make sure that it fits securely. Fold the edges into the hat and overlap where necessary. Trim any excess and begin to glue in place. Let dry. While that is drying, cover the cardboard circles you made for the ears. L
