NeoOffice is not the ideal tool for creating fliers. InDesign, QuarkXpress or similar design applications are much better suited for the task. But these programs cost a lot of money and would be a large expense for creating the occasional flier. It is possible to create a tri-fold flier with NeoOffice 2 relatively easily. Once the document is formatted properly, inserting the text is simple. Format the document to have no margins so that the flier will fold evenly. Click Format and select Page in the drop-down box. Select the Page tab and type “0” into each of the Margin fields. Change the document to Landscape so that it prints horizontally. Click File and select Printer Settings in the drop-down box. Click one of the Landscape icons; it shouldn’t make a difference which direction you print your document. Insert columns into your document.
