How Do You Create Feather Detail With Hands For Clay Eagle Sculpture?
“JORGE BENLLOCH: Okay. Now we are going to start marking. With the fingers, with–you can mark like this because as you’ve seen in the pictures, those feathers, they are long. The feathers that are there in the end of the neck and they start in the chest and in the back. They are long feathers. Then, do these kind of long strokes like this and it’s going to make more or less the effect of the feathers but it always has to be in the direction that they show in here. And just–a last touch up here in order to make the things even from the back, from the front. Take that crumbs of clay away. MAN: Do you want to hold up the picture? JORGE BENLLOCH: And then, hey, we have an eagle. Now, we have to transform this one in about one–and we are going to paint it in white and I’ll put some little colors on it.
