How Do You Create Faux Leather Walls Without Paint?
Faux leather walls are a fun way to add interest and dimension to any room in your home. You can easily create faux leather walls in your home without using any paint. Stain can be used to add dimension at the end, but this is option in the DIY faux leather walls. Rip your paper grocery bags into large pieces about 5 inches by 5 inches. They do not have to be perfect, and can be any shapes you want. Prepare you wall by removing any nails, hanging devices, or loose or peeling paint on the wall. Mix your wallpaper paste in a bucket or paint tray. Any brand of wallpaper paste will work. Dip a large four-inch paint brush in the wallpaper paste. Paint the mixture onto the back of one of the squares of paper grocery bag you ripped out. Press the paper bag against your wall. Star in the middle of the wall and work your way out covering the whole wall. After you place the paper on the wall you can paint over the front of it again to press it into place.
