How Do You Create E-Newsletters Using Microsoft Word?
Does your club need an easy way to keep its members informed? Are you looking for a way to send out e-newsletters without having to spend money on monthly services and new software? If you can write a letter in MS Word, you can develop a newsletter. This is how I did it and how you can do it to: Create a New File. Open a new file in MS Word. Under the FILE pull-down menu, select SAVE AS. A new box will open up. Select the folder where you want to save your article. Name the file. And then in the SAVE AS TYPE pull-down menu, select WEB PAGE. Format The Newsletter You will want your e-newsletter to look professional and consistent. You also want it to be easily read no matter what type of computer or email program your members have. This is can be done by using a few graphics and photos, but not too many, and by using CONSISTENT FORMATTING of the text and headings. Here’s what I generally include in my club’s e-newsletter: 1. A header with the newsletter name. This can either be bolded t
