How Do You Create Drug Cards For Pharmacology?
Pharmacology is a course that has a lot of information. You must know all of this information to do well on exams and to answer questions if a patient needs information on drugs he is taking. Making drug cards, or flash cards for pharmacology, is one way of condensing the information you need to know for this course. Step 1 Divide your index cards into six sections or boxes. Step 2 Label the first section “Drug name and classification.” In this section, write down the generic name of the drug you are studying, its trade name, its classification and the names of other drugs in the same class. Step 3 Write “Action and therapeutic use” as the title of the next section. In this section, write down the physiologic action of the drug and what the therapeutic use of the drug is or what conditions it is prescribed for.
