How Do You Create Digital Mosaic Pictures?
A picture mosaic uses tens or hundreds of individual pictures to make one large image. Make a picture mosaic to put up in your home, to use as a poster for an event or to give as a thoughtful gift to a friend or relative. You can make your own picture mosaics using computer software. Gather the digital image files you want to use in a mosaic and place them all in the same folder on your computer. Download and install AndreaMosaic software. This software is free and compatible with PC computers. Other photo mosaic programs are available for a fee. See Resources for a link to the AndreaMosaic software download. Open the program. Click “Find Tiles” and then “Create Collection” and select the digital image files you want to include in the mosaic. Click “Save.” Click “Load Collection” and select the set of images you want to use in a mosaic.
