How Do You Create Christmas Cards With Corel Painter X?
Corel Painter X allows you to paint with digital brushes, which emulate real media such as acrylics, oils, watercolors and pastels. Images can be created for print by sizing the image before you create it. Then you can paint your design and save the image. Many Christmas cards are five by seven inches in size so this tutorial will cover how to create an image of that size which will print correctly on card stock. Open Corel Painter X. Click on “File”, then choose “New”. Change “Width” and “Height” from pixels to inches. Type “5” next to “Width” and “7” next to “Height.” Next to “Resolution”, type “300.” The higher resolution will allow the image to print without showing the pixels.
