Outdoor water features can be great focal points in any yard but added to a garden landscape it can really add a whole new “wow” aspect. Here is a simple to follow and easy to make decorative water feature that will spice up your summer view. Inspect the inside of your half-barrel for any sharp splinters or objects that may tear through your PVC liner. If you find any remove or gently sand them down until dull. Take a section of PVC liner that is large enough to cover the inside walls and bottom of your half barrel. Lay the liner in the barrel that is soon to house your water feature and pull it up over the sides to the top lip of your barrel. It should now easily cover the bottom and insides of your half-barrel completely and hang over the top edge. Using your staple gun, place several staples around the inside of your barrel to hold your liner in place. You want to go down on the inside approx. 1 1/2 to 2″ from the top. Then place several along the top lip of the container to secure
