According to Realtor.com, 48% of people use open house events as a source of information when searching for a new home (See Reference 1). As an agent, when you hold an open house you must present yourself and your real estate agency as professional and thorough. You must convey the same message in your flyer for the event. If you spend some time properly crafting your flyer, you will attract more qualified potential home buyers to your open house. Choose a plain white or cream background on white paper (8.5 by 11 inches) for your flyer with basic black text. Avoid flashy colors that will distract from your message.
