How Do You Create An ISO File Of A DVD?

0

ISO is a disc image format. An ISO file will contain, in the binary form, an exact directory structure of a DVD including all files and a boot sector. ISO files permit a reliable DVD duplication or creation of a backup disc copy on the computer’s hard drive. The popular Nero software suite allows you to create a DVD ISO file. Insert the DVD disc to be copied into the DVD drive and launch Nero by clicking the desktop icon. Select the menu tab “Rip and Burn” in Nero and click “Copy Disk” to open the “Nero Express Essentials” window. Click on “Copy Entire DVD” option and select “Image Recorder” as a “Destination Drive.” Click “Copy” and wait until the “Save Image File” window appears. Select the destination hard drive and a folder for the image file using the button “Browse.” Click “Save” to start backing up the DVD disc as the image to the hard drive. Click “OK” when the message “Burn process completed successfully” appears indicating the ISO file has been created.
