How Do You Create An Avatar On Yahoo?
Yahoo! gives you the choice to create your own custom facial avatar based on your preferences through an engine it manifests on its website. Although you don’t show your true face, you can get very close to giving people an impression of what you look like without actually revealing your real photographical identity. This becomes useful when you have people on your messenger list that you don’t trust with your actual picture. Go to the Yahoo! Avatar home page, listed as the first link in Resources. Click the “Appearance” tab on the top navigation area of the page. Select an appearance to modify your avatar. Use the other navigation tabs to change other aspects of your avatar until you feel totally satisfied with your avatar’s appearance. Click the orange button labeled “Save Changes” where you find the controls for your avatar. Yahoo! puts the avatar automatically in your account where you can select it from your list of available avatars from Messenger.
