You can create your avatar at the Yahoo! Avatars home page You can also select “Create My Yahoo! Avatar” from the Messenger menu from the status bar in. Yahoo! Messenger 6.0. 1. Select “Change My Display Image” from the Messenger menu. 2. Click on “Share My Yahoo! Avatar” or “Create My Yahoo! Avatar” in the pop-up window that appears. This links to the Yahoo! Avatars home page. On the Avatars home page, you will be asked to choose a gender for your Yahoo! Avatar. Choose the desired gender (male or female) and click “OK.” You’ll then be taken to the My Avatar page to edit and save your avatar.
