You’re a writer, you’ve been published, or maybe you’re teetering on the verge. Well, it’s time (actually past time) to think about putting together a media kit and looking forward to the future when you can use that kit to possibly get mentioned in publications for your efforts, or maybe capture a spot on radio or TV or snag yourself a speaking engagement with an opportunity for chatting with your public. All can add to your writer’s income and all mean great exposure for your name and writing. Create a separate sheet for each category you cover, whether it’s a hard copy page in a folder you hand out or a page on your website. I suggest strongly that you need both.
