How Do You Create A System Recovery Disk For An HP?

0

Your HP computer comes with built-in functionality to create recovery disks. A recovery disk contains all the basic information your PC requires to function. Your recovery disk will contain your operating system and all of the factory drivers and programs that came with your PC. Since 2003 HP has shipped with its computers the HP CD-DVD Creator software, making creating your recovery disk a simple task. Click on the “Start” button then select the “All Programs” option. Navigate to the “Hewlett-Packard” folder then the “HP Recovery CD Creator” file. If you can’t find this file in this location, you may find it under “PC Help & Tools,” depending on your operating system. Click “Continue” on the welcome screen and note how many CDs or DVDs the program requires to burn completely your system recover files. Place your disk in to your optical disk drive then click “Ok” to begin the recovery disk creation process. Remove and label each disk as appropriate to complete your operation.
