How Do You Create A Startup Disk For Apple?
All Apple computers come with the ability to designate a start up disk. While Macs are sold with one start up disk, you can create another start up disk, if you partition your hard drive into two separate parts and install another operating system. Creating a start up disk on an Apple is easy. Partitioning your hard drive to create the disk will mean you have to back up your data. Open “Disk Utility.” Disk Utility is in the Utilities/Applications folder (Ref. 1). Select your hard drive from the list of drives in the left side of the window (Ref. 1).
