So, you’ve got iTunes set up, and have already converted your audio CDs to MP3’s. Now you’re ready to start enjoying digital music. One of the great things about digital music is that you can mix and match your songs into Playlists to enjoy a series of songs together with one another. Smart Playlists do this dynamically, based upon criteria that you choose. Choose File < New Smart Playlist... A dialog box will appear that will give you options for building your Smart Playlist. Choose your criteria. There are limitless combinations you can choose. You can create a Smart Playlist of only songs with the word "Love" in them, for example (as pictured). You can add countless rules, and even make the Smart Playlist update live, so songs fitting the criteria will be added to your Playlist as they are added to your library.
