When you open The Sims 3 for the first time, you will find a Sim waiting for you. You can create a Sim from the preexisting model, or you can create a customized Sim from scratch; the customized option is much more fun. Follow these steps to learn how to create a Sim using Sims 3 software. The first thing you will need to do in order to create a Sim in The Sims 3 game, is to open up the Create a Sims tool. Once you have opened up the tool, proceed to step 2. Now you will need to open up the “BASICS” tab in the Create a Sim tool – from this tab you will be able to name your Sim and give him/her a gender, skin tone and age. Now move on to the “HAIR” tab – from here you will be allowed to make your Sim bald, give him or her a hair color, hair length, style, etc. Sim headgear can be chosen from this tab as well.
