How Do You Create A Science Fiction Book Character?
Creating a science fiction book character can be challenging but also enjoyable. Science fiction by definition gives your imagination free reign to create whatever creature–whether man or alien–you want. There are a few things to keep in mind when creating this character, but they have more to do with the plot and story than whether your creation has two or eight arms. Remember that in science fiction not even the sky is the limit! Decide on a physical description of your character. Ask yourself if it will be male, female, both or neither. Perhaps you want to have the character be humanoid from the future, or an alien no one has ever seen before. Whichever you choose, make sure that you are consistent; in other words, if your character slides along on its belly to get around, you wouldn’t have it buying shoes.
