Cinema 4D is a powerful three-dimensional modeling program used in many professional applications. Creating a realistic cityscape is a relatively simple process achievable by anyone with a basic understanding of Cinema 4D. In addition, the individual buildings you create with the program can be duplicated, providing you with an efficient way to create a convincing city of any size. Create a single building by making a cube object. Find the Objects menu, 3D Object, and choose “Cube.” Place a check next to “Separate Surfaces” in the following dialogue box, which will allow all of the cube’s faces to be editable. Find the Tools menu under File, choose “Action,” and choose “Scale.” This will allow to you to change the shape of the cube. Activate the “Object” tool by clicking the File menu, then Tools, Options and Object. Click and drag the mouse in the viewing window; notice how the scale of the cube changes.
