Creating a private chat room is simple using a website such as Meebo. Meebo allows you to host chat rooms and is a program that can be used to integrate multiple instant messaging programs, including AIM and Yahoo! Messenger. Setting up a Meebo chat is easy and you can follow every change you make using the preview editor. A free Meebo account is required to host a private chat room, but the account allows you to save the custom chat rooms you create. Go to meebo.com/rooms/create/. Enter a name for your chat room. Set a size. Choose a color. If everything in the preview box looks acceptable, click “Next.” Create a Meebo ID. This will allow you to modify and moderate the chat rooms you create.
