How Do You Create A Personalized Memory Game For Kids?

0

Memory card games are a great way to engage young, developing minds. With this personalized and homemade version, kids will be excited to search for the matching pairs of their favorite photos. Help your child look through the family photos. Identify eight to ten of his favorite pictures to use for the game. Place the photos on the photocopier’s flatbed so that all the photos are showing. Make two copies of each layout onto the copy paper. Next, affix glue to the copied pages by gliding the glue stick around the edges and center of the paper. Place one colored piece of paper to the adhesive side of each copied page. Now the pictures should not show through the opposite side – matches will be made by memory only. Once the glue has set, use the scissors to cut out all the photos. Compare the memory cards now and ensure they are all the same size; keep trimming them to size, if needed. Now you and your child are ready to play and test your memories – enjoy!
