As technology grows, so does the size of the average hard drive. With size increases comes the headache of managing, accessing and organizing your computer files on those hard drives. Partitioning a drive is a good way to keep your files organized, provide Windows a more efficient way to index files, and ultimately save yourself trouble down the road. Click “Start” on your desktop in the lower left hand corner. This opens the Windows Start Menu. In the Start menu, right click on “My Computer” and select “Manage” from the pop-up window.
