A pamphlet is a folded, unbound booklet. It can be a single piece of paper folded in half or thirds, or can be multiple pages folded in half. Open Office does not have the option to create a pamphlet through a wizard, but you can download templates. Open Office templates are freely available for download and use. Download the “Tri Fold Brochure” or the “Booklet and Pamphlet” template from the OpenOffice.org website. The “Tri Fold Brochure” template will create a pamphlet that will be folded into thirds. The “Booklet and Pamphlet” template will create a pamphlet that will be folded in half. Open the Open Office Writer program. Click the “Open” option under the “File” menu. Browse to the location of the downloaded template and click the “Open” button. Highlight the text found on the template.
