How Do You Create A Painted Stained Glass Effect?

0

The process of making real stained glass is a long, hard process. Originally, a stained glass artist had little control over what color they would end up producing. However in recent years, there have been advancements in making more accurate colors. In stride with these advancements, the difficulty of making stained glass increased. Thankfully, there is an easier way of making stained glass–painting it. Clean the glass with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner. Choose the pieces of glass you wish to paint. Decide if you want to paint a design on your glass. Select any stencils you wish to paint on the glass. Adhere the stencil onto the opposite side of the glass you wish to paint. Choose the paint you wish to use. Paint the paint on with a brush over the stencil design. Start painting thin coats on top of the stencil and eventually work your way up in tone depth, defining the lighter areas with darker tones of the same paint color. Bake the glassware. Place the glassware in a cooled oven
