How Do You Create A Minty Christmas Drink?
Whether it’s high in the mountains of Southern Italy, or after a Celebration in the Oaks of New Orleans; slowly sipping a cup of minty hot chocolate adds both warmth and an extra bit of flavor to your holiday. Heat 8 cups of milk in a medium saucepan on low to medium heat. Thoroughly heat milk, but do not let it boil. Just as little bubbles start to form, add the flavoring agent of peppermint extract, a dash of salt, and the 8 packets of cocoa mix. If you are using chocolate syrup, add 2 cups of syrup to milk. Gently stir your combination with a wire whisk and slowly add sugar to the chocolate mixture along with a cup of water. Continue stirring until your chocolate mixture is well-blended. After 2 minutes, remove from heat. Fill each tea-cup halfway with minty hot chocolate. Decorate with a huge swirl of whipped cream, sprinkles of choco-chips, and a mini-peppermint stick! Enjoy & Happy Holidays!
